Michael Savage has once again delivered greatness. I gave "Abuse of Power" a 5-star rating, and now I too am giving "A Time for War" a 5-star rating. However, I wish I could give it more, because this one is even better than the first book.Dr. Savage is a natural storyteller and it comes through in this book. He is able to bring reality into this book, just as he had done in the first book, to make this fictional story seem ever more true. The murder of our Navy Seals is a tragedy, and the lack of government investigation is disgusting. For Dr. Savage to make that a key part of his book is very powerful. This book covers a lot of ground, and is a great thriller that will keep you wondering what will happen next. It is filled with a lot of suspense, action, and meaningful dialogue. There has been much character development from the first novel, not just with Jack Hatfield, but also with other characters such as Doc Matson and Carl Forsyth. The introduction of the powerful Maggie is a great addition for the novel too. In addition, the dialogue between Abe and Doc is very refreshing to hear. Two people who hold opposing views, and can still be friends? That is something that is almost unheard of now under this divisive president.This book is a must-read, especially for Michael Savage fans.
