FURLOUGH: A Gripping Crime Thriller Novel - Perfect for Mystery Lovers & Book Clubs | Suspenseful Reading for Travel, Commute & Relaxation

This book is a very well written crime thriller. It is about the main character, Eddie Grassle, who seems to be having the worst luck in everything that he does. Having the best intentions from the beginning he gets deeper and deeper in trouble. He ends up in a place that is almost impossible to escape from. This story could easily be a true story. As a corrections officer myself I found lots of facts and true life descriptions in this book. A lot of scenarios are realistic and I experienced some of them myself. It gives you an insight of how someone’s life can change when they lose their freedom. The main character has only one goal in his life, and he does everything to accomplish that. His determination is enormous and helps him overcome all the pain and suffering. One of my favorite characters is Detective Riggins. She is the only person that believes Eddie and this will create a special bond between them. The suspense is intense with numerous twists and turns. I truly enjoyed this book and found it very hard to put it down. The main character adventures kept me guessing about what’s going to happen next all the way till the very end. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys crime thriller with a lot of action.
