Enigma: An FBI Thriller is by Catherine Coulter. This is another Savich and Sherlock book. This book deals with the idea that man can stop the aging process and live longer. It has so many different pieces that it seems like two or three cases are being worked on simultaneously. Therefore, it keeps your attention.Savich had gotten a phone call from his friend, Dr. Janice Hudson. She had seen a man enter her neighbor’s house with a gun. Kara Moody was pregnant and could have her baby any time now. He needed to come over and help. Of course, Savich went over immediately and got there after the police. Dr. Hudson showed him where an entrance was and he entered the house to try to stop anything from happening to Kara. He was able to subdue the man and keep Kara safe; but the man was rendered unconscious. Kara was safe but in labor and soon had her baby boy. Then the day-old baby was kidnapped. Why and by whom? What did the man who had come to Kara’s house have to do with anything?Meanwhile, a bank robber and murderer was incarcerated in Sing Sing prison. He was being transferred and escaped. After a chase through a national forest, he finally got away with a lady who didn’t exist. What does he have to do with Kara and her baby? The story twists and turns as it progresses. This is what makes these thrillers so good.
